Momma's Mantle

Welcome to our beautiful mess.

Two Catholic moms with theology degrees sit on the porch and talk about motherhood, faith, and the real life between Sunday Mass and bedtime.

Fiat · Momma Mary, wrap us in your mantle.

Mommas Mantle

About

Two moms. One porch. A whole lot of grace.

Momma's Mantle is a podcast by two Catholic moms and friends who both hold theology degrees and spent years working together in lay ministry. One's a stay-at-home mom deep in the young-kids years; the other's juggling full-time ministry, six kids spanning nearly two decades, and a house that never really quiets down. Through prayer, they both felt God was calling them to accompany other moms through the beautiful mess of real life.

They record on their front porch after the kids are (mostly) in bed, with husbands running around in the background, and honest conversations flowing naturally. No scripts, no filters.

Every episode opens with prayer and closes with "until our paths cross again, we'll see you in the Eucharist."

We're not going to be fake. Life is a beautiful mess, and we want to accompany you in this way.

The Moms Behind the Mic

Michaela

Michaela

Michaela has been married to her husband Bryan for over 2 decades. She is a homeschooling mom of 6 children. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Major in Theology and a Minor in English from Aquinas College. She is trained through the Families of the Americas to instruct NFP and has been trained in all 3 levels of CGS. Michaela has been actively working in lay ministry (where she and Jenny first met) for over 15 years. She loves animals, photography, music, outdoors, reading, and a good cup of tea by the fire.

Jenny

Jenny

Jenny has been married to her husband for 6 years and is a stay-at-home mom of 3 children, now beginning the homeschooling journey. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Aquinas College and a Master of Arts in Theology from St. Meinrad Seminary. She is also trained in CGS through level 2. Over the years, Jenny has served the church in roles ranging from youth ministry volunteer, full-time faith formation at a parish, tribunal notary, religion teacher to diocesan assistant director for catechesis. A constant thread through all of her time in ministry is her love for event planning — from large diocesan events to intimate parish gatherings (and yes, it even shows up in her birthday party planning for family and friends). She loves car karaoke, a good cup of joe, photography, anything pumpkin and a good workout.
